Beautiful kids of rural west Azerbaijan. Another example of how despite the ongoing war and struggle in this world, they still manage to smile and have fun. Masha’Allah :)

“The home in Gumri where a little boy waits for his shoebox. He lived here with his mother who was very poor. Samaritans Purses partners started to support the mother who tried her best to look after her children in dire circumstances. A year later they had a better place to live and the children were doing well. Operation Christmas Child, Azerbaijan”

I G N O R A N C E

There’s a new plague spreading among us and it’s called ignoramus

It eats away at your brain cells causing lack of intellectualism and knowledge. Ignorance is bliss and you become blissfully unaware. Our hearts, ears and eyes turn blind. A sad yet true story and as Martin Luther king Jr once said :

“nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and  conscientious stupidity”

Fear always springs from ignorance…and there is nothing more fearsome than ignorance in action.

Someone wrote

“I wish little kids didn’t have to grow up. I see my little brothers laughing and playing and I cant imagine them being stressed out, miserable adults. I can’t see them doing drugs or drinking to get away from the pain.

It kills me to know that one day they’ll figure out how horrible the world can be.

I wish innocence lasted forever”

Word for word I can understand and relate to this so well. Working with kids, I often wonder where does it all go wrong?I often wish sometimes we could be children forever or have that child like innocence with us always. Kids are so pure
